About the facility Barwon Medical Imaging (BMI) is the Department of Radiology at Barwon Health and has four imaging sites located across Geelong including comprehensive imaging at University Hospital Geelong, Mc Kellar Centre North Geelong, Barwon Health North and Colac, providing approximately 230,000 imaging exams per year for the hospital and community patients.
Barwon Medical Imaging provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic services including X-Ray, OPG, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Angiography, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine, whilst also supporting the region with a dedicated IR interventional on-call service.
These are performed by a team of highly skilled radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine technologists, nurses and support staff who ensure that all patients have access to quality services.
About the role BMI is currently recruiting for an Administration Assistant - Operations (job share) to provide high level assistance and secretarial support to our Operations Manager, Clinical Support Manager and Senior Leadership Team.
Working closely in a job-share arrangement you will help facilitate the effective operation of Barwon Medical Imaging.
The Administration Assistant (Operations) works closely with Operations Manager and Clinical Support Manager in providing day to day coordination and administrative support to Radiologists, Registrars and the senior leadership team of BMI.
This diverse role will see the successful candidate utilise their strong administration skill set in the areas of diary management, communication and secretarial support.
Previous experience in supporting financial processes including ordering (via Oracle), invoicing and reconciliation will be highly regarded, as will strong customer service skills to be utilised in assisting external referrers access BMI imaging and reports.
