St Margaret's has a range of modern and historical, teaching and learning facilities, sports and cultural resources.
The facilities team is responsible for the maintenance and development of these resources and the school grounds.
The role As the Administration Assistant - Facilities, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient coordination of the school's facilities and event activities.
Key responsibilities of the role include: Supporting the facilities function by handling administrative tasks, including data entry for maintenance works and tracking progress.
Scheduling and coordinating work requests with internal team members and external service providers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Acting as a key contact across the school for internal requests and facilitating external works that impact school operations.
Assisting with the administration and coordination of events by organising set-up and pack-down activities, working with stakeholders, and arranging external service providers as needed.
Participating in traffic marshalling processes to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow during peak times.
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 7.45am – 3.45pm daily throughout the year; including during school holiday periods.
The ideal candidate The ideal candidate will be a proactive, energetic and experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
You will have: Strong administrative skills with a high-level of competence with the Microsoft suite.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
A high level of attention to detail, ensuring a high level of presentation of the school grounds.
A working knowledge of work, health and safety practices and the ability to prioritise works in this area.
Previous experience coordinating trades or similar in a professional environment would be advantageous.
The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
A can-do attitude and high level of flexibility, with the ability to proactively problem solve and think quickly on your feet.
Well-developed interpersonal skills coupled with strong customer service.
