We are now seeking an Administration Assistant on a Permanent Part-Time basis to join the team.
About the role
As the Administration Assistant you will provide effective and efficient admin support which includes financial account, enrolment and enrolment enquiries, maintaining updated family and child records and also general office duties.
What would my day look like?

You will accurately monitor and maintain currency of family and child records on QikKids Enterprise;
You will ensure all families have properly completed their enrolment form and this has been properly linked in their mygov account to be approved for the Child Care Subsidy;
You will maintain thorough knowledge of Child Care Subsidy System to ensure compliance;
You will liaise with the Centre Director on all accounts and administration related matters;
You will prepare debt summaries and process weekly transactions;
You will be responsible for handling receipt payments received from services and record on monthly Banking Journal.

Am I a good match?

Sound experience working as an Administrator or Admin Assistant, preferably in the children's services field.
Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
Sound organisational skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
Possess, or be willing to obtain, a positive notice blue card.

You might also have

A relevant qualification in Business or similar at a Certificate level.
Relevant experience in working in accounts; debtors and creditors reconciliations.
Knowledge of relevant legislation regarding the Administration of Family Assistance Law.

About the service
Our exceptional team at YMCA Acacia Ridge Early Learning Centre is one big, happy, multicultural family! Our experienced staff come from many countries including the Czech Republic, Russia, Spain, the Philippines, Pakistan and Australia.
We have provided early learning child care support and expertise to Acacia Ridge families for 40 years, and our amazing Director Renata has been a familiar face at the centre for more than 20 years.
The outdoor play area and 'musical sandpit' are the perfect setting for children to explore and create their very own musical masterpiece. Our educators provide endless opportunities for children to explore their sense of sound, art, music and other fun and interactive experiences. Through our partnership with YMCA Gymnastics, we provide children with regular KinderGym lessons - an easy class to let kids unleash their imagination and learn simple gymnastics skills.

Pay: $25.77 – $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
