Permanent part time position Flexible hours Work 3 days per week or 22.5 hours over 4 day Available to increase work hours to cover annual leave SCHADS 2010 + 11% Superannuation + Not for Profit Packaging $24.49 - $26.18 (dependant upon experience) About us ... About the role ...  The Administration Assistant is instrumental in supporting the effective delivery of Micare QLD's Home Care programs, which includes managing data associated with Veterans Home Care (VHC) and Home Care Package (HCP) recipients. The successful incumbent will manage client enquiries, intake, initial home visits, administering VHC care plans, rostering of Home Care workers, compliance & wellness reporting and general office duties.
The position will strive to ensure that MiCare client's quality of life is enhanced through their relationship with MiCare.   The main responsibilities of the role include:
Manage enquires from potential new and existing MiCare clients Reconcile client co-payments and report through to finance Support direct care rostering Assist with timesheet reconciliation as required Maintain stocks of Home Care Client Information Pack inclusions Assist with direct care staff training monitoring  Complete file audits as per audit schedule  Log continuous improvements for Home Care and follow through to ensure their timely completion Responsibility for ensuring complaints, feedback and incidents are logged and followed through Participate in activities to promote MiCare to the general public and industry Assist with dissemination of information to potential referrers Provide information to potential new MiCare care recipients About you ...  You will have excellent communication, conflict resolution and time management ability.  You will have the flexibility and resilience to adapt to continuous change.  You will employ a thorough and detailed approach to managing information.  You will be self-motivated, reliable with a flexible, caring and patient attitude.  You will be a person of integrity.
Qualifications: Certificate III or above in Community Service and/or Office Administration, (or equivalent workplace experience ) Current Queensland Driver's licence and willingness to drive throughout greater Brisbane, Redlands, Logan, Ipswich & Gold Coast Skills Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs including high level experience in Excel, Word and Outlook Demonstrated experience using client management such as iCare and staff rostering Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance Working understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with vulnerable clients, in particular CALD communities and Veterans Understanding of Government funding and referral processes   Analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to make decisions based on sound information. Excellent customer service and time management skills Eye for detail and very high standards of accuracy Ability to work with others and be a participative and supportive team member Well-developed written and verbal skills Ability to work with minimal supervision The ability to speak another language other than English is desirable but not essential A police check with no disclosable outcome, current medicare evidence of influenza vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination is required by MiCare for this position.
