We are an Aquaculture Facility located at Clarence Point in Northern Tas and we are looking for an Admin/Office All Rounder to join our team.
The candidate must have proven admin experience with a solid understanding of office principles and practices.We are flexible with hours of work for the right candidate as long as the work targets are completed within the required timeframes.
This is a job share position, and we envisage the role will be around 10-25 hours per week, 5 hours per day.Key Responsibilities:Assist in processing sales including all relevant compliance documentation.Daily data input of stock movement, stock harvest, and stock mortality, including the use of our stock management spreadsheets.Ensure all relevant licenses, leases, and compliance paperwork are kept up to date.Keep general facility checklists templates printed, up to date, and relevant.Provide ad hoc project support and administration assistance to the Operations team.Liaise with accountant/bookkeeper to provide information in the formats they need.Assist with recording staff hours, leave, and processing of staff pays in conjunction with the offsite bookkeeper.Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.Participate in the development and lead the implementation of SOPs and SHE business plan and relevant legal requirements.Contribute to the development of plant SHE programs including safety manuals/materials.Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of critical controls.Conduct training and information sessions relating to inductions and a variety of Health & Safety matters.Requirements:Ability to work well in a team to find solutions for the company's benefit.Administration or office management experience is preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be confident with Excel and Microsoft Office programs; knowledge of Xero is an advantage, along with strong data-entry skills.Contractor or casual employee with immediate start date.Bookkeeping experience is beneficial, including processing accounts payable and receivable.Health, Safety, and Environmental experience is beneficial.Sound knowledge and understanding of WHS legislation, standards, and codes of practice.A willingness and flexibility to assist with any general office work that's required at the time (e.g., product/service pricing for quotes, placing stock orders, tracking orders, signing new staff up, drafting contracts, etc.
