About SISA: Self Insurers of South Australia (SISA) is an incorporated association that represents most of South Australia's largest private and public sector employers that are self-insured under the South Australian Workers Compensation legislation.
The role:We have an exciting opportunity for someone with exceptional administration skills to contribute to our small and agile team.
This role plays a key role in the efficient running and presentation of the SISA office and the planning and coordination of various member events and maintaining membership information.
The role works closely with and provides administrative support the General Manager and SISA Executive Committee.
Who are we looking for? Whilst being professionally presented and able to represent the SISA brand in a professional and efficient manner, key to this role is the ability to develop and maintain positive professional relationships with members, the SISA Executive and other stakeholders.
We are seeking someone who can work independently and exercise initiative, assisting the SISA General Manager to provide high quality service to our members.
Key responsibilities include: Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the SISA office including:greeting and responding to members/stakeholdersassisting with the smooth operation of conference/IT systems overseeing the office maintenance contract arrangementsMaintaining effective records and reporting on SISA membership.Contribute to the coordination and running of member initiatives and events.Contribute to and upload content to the SISA website including, SISA newsletters, emails to members, promotional materials and member advertisements and coordinate communications to members utilising the bulk emailing system (currently MailChimp) as required.Provide a high standard of professional and efficient executive and administration support to the General Manager and SISA Executive as requested, including with the arrangements and coordination of meetings and minute taking.Preparation of correspondence, PowerPoint presentations, reports, executive papers, and other documentation as required and in a timely manner.The right candidate will have: 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in providing high quality administration support to executives/ senior leadership.High level computer literacy and excellent skills in a variety of Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to produce presentations, reports, documents, and correspondence accurately and professionally to internal and external stakeholders.Experience coordinating on-site and off-site events including negotiation skills.Well-developed oral and written communication skillsExperience posting information to websites like SISA's would be an advantage.
