We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administration and Finance Officer to join our team at the National Capital Educational Tourism Project (NCETP).
In this vital part-time role, you will contribute to the success and vision of the NCETP by providing key support to the Project Leader and Business Manager.
This role is for 2-3 days per week, offering annual and sick leave entitlements, with flexibility and the option to work remotely when needed.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with financial management, administrative tasks, and IT operations to ensure the smooth running of the project.

Finance Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and related responsibilities.
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
Prepare and process monthly journal entries to maintain up-to-date financial statements.
Assist with the improvement of our accounting systems and processes in order to make our financial operation as smooth and seamless as possible.
Administration Responsibilities
Book flights for students across Australia for an upcoming program, in partnership with National Curriculum Services (NCS).
Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
Assist in program preparation & delivery.
Assist in external partner support and engagement including workshops, meetings and regular written updates.
Assist in operational management tasks such as coordinating meetings and reporting.
Handle general administrative duties to support the operational needs of the organisation.
BCE Development & Management Support:
The Book Canberra Excursions is a system that delivers easily accessible 24/7 online booking information, displaying program availability in real time to enable efficient coordination of National Attraction excursion itineraries.
Provide internal and external support for BCE by addressing queries, troubleshooting any issues, and offering solutions to ensure smooth system functionality.
Assist with backend reporting and maintenance tasks to monitor system performance and implement necessary updates or improvements.
Work internally to find innovative solutions and recommend enhancements to optimise the BCE system's operations and efficiency for our organisation.
