About the RoleThe Administration and Events Support Officer supports the delivery of the Melbourne Professional Education (MPE) portfolio, working collaboratively with the project team and stakeholders.
This role encompasses a range of administrative responsibilities, including enquiry management, financial transactions, travel arrangements, and contract administration, while ensuring high-quality customer service.
The incumbent will develop a thorough understanding of MPE priorities, relationships, and projects to effectively contribute to the team's success.Your responsibilities will include: Providing general administrative support, including arranging building access, IT setup, ordering stationery, and course set up in a CRM.Managing financial tasks such as processing invoices, reimbursements and reconciling purchasing cards.Responding to enquiries, and providing support to key stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and assistance.Assisting with event management, including coordinating logistics, liaising with service providers, attendance at teaching deliveries, and evaluating events to recommend improvements.
Who we are looking forYou will have well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation.
You will bring demonstrated experience in providing administrative support, coordinating high-quality events and programs, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Your ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, work both independently and as part of a team, and apply strong organisation and time management skills will be key to your success in this role.You will also have: Completed a diploma-level qualification with relevant work experience, or a certificate-level qualification combined with work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.A high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
