Admin Support Officer

The Admin Support Officer will provide efficient administrative support to the Lifeguard & Government Programs department and associated personnel. This role is based in our South Brisbane office and is Permanent Part-Time.
Benefits at SLSQ: Access to salary packaging benefits.Flexible working conditions.Key Responsibilities: Assist with the development of plans and processes that ensure the effective and efficient delivery of Lifeguard & Government Programs.Prepare submissions, reports, and correspondence to stakeholders relevant to maintaining Lifeguard & Government Programs contracts.Under the direction of the Head of Lifeguard Operations, prepare submissions, statistical reports, and correspondence for Councils, SLSA, and SLSQ.Tend to administrative matters that are routine and fall within SLSQ policy guidelines on behalf of Lifeguards & Government Programs.Skills, Qualifications, & Experience: Working with Children Blue Card or ability to obtain one quickly.Relevant experience in administration.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Understanding of lifesaving or a similar community-based activity.Sound level of knowledge of Association policies and constitution.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work autonomously.Ability to plan and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.Outstanding organisational and time management skills.High level of attention to detail/high level accuracy.Qualification in Business or Administration (not essential).About SLSQ: Surf Life Saving Queensland employs over 550 people throughout Queensland.
