Admin & Payroll Officer
Location: QLD, Molendinar
Reports to: Managing Director
Job Summary: The Admin & Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing administrative functions and processing payroll for the organization.
This role involves maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and providing support for various administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a good understanding of payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Maintain employee payroll records, including timekeeping, deductions, and bonuses.
Prepare and submit payroll reports and tax filings.
Address payroll inquiries from employees and resolve any discrepancies.
Administrative Support:
Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring a well-stocked and organized workspace.
Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
Maintain employee files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Support various HR functions, including onboarding and training coordination.
Xero knowledge is an advantage.
Compliance & Reporting:
Stay updated on labor laws and payroll regulations to ensure compliance.
Assist with the preparation of reports for management and regulatory bodies as needed.
Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures.
Communication & Team Support:
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll and administrative matters.
Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in payroll processing and administrative functions.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Understanding of taxation.
Working Conditions:
Onsite & offsite/mixed of both (options available).
Salary Range:
Competitive salary based on experience.
