About the Speech Pathology Department
We have over 30 speech pathologists working across all three sites of Austin Health, in acute care, sub-acute care, rehabilitation and community programs. We function as one department and work in clinical teams in a supportive, friendly environment. Our work includes clinical services, research, quality and improvement, staff and student education.
About the TRAMS Department
The Tracheostomy Review and Management Service is a multidisicplinary consulting team comprised of Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Nurses and Doctors. The team support, educate, manage and provide care to people with tracheostomy and those caring for them.
About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced
Administration Officer
to join our Speech Pathology team
Part time Admin Officer 19.25 hrs/week
Fixed term 12 months
Details of position
This position is initially based on the
Austin site
and will work under the direction of the Speech Pathology and TRAMS managers. In the course of a day, you may find yourself:
Ordering equipment for patient use
liaising with finance or engineering teams
arranging invoices
organising workshops
