Leura Golf Club (LGC), the premier golf club in the Blue Mountains of NSW, located within the hotel and leisure complex of Fairmont Resort, is seeking a Bar & Office Manager to operate and supervise the bar and office of the club.Supported by the Board, you will lead three broad areas:You will lead the Admin Office, one of the important hubs of the business, which includes compliance and delivering Marketing and Promotions.You will lead the Bar team, including hiring, rostering and helping this team.You will liaise with and add value to the Functions side of the business.The successful applicant will have RSA and RCG, strong communication and office management skills as well as some financial knowledge and Excel skills.Responsibilities will include:Supporting and reporting to the Club President, Board and Committees;Implementing Board policies and minute-taking at meetings;Administering, supervising and assisting staff and activities, including the office, bar, gaming room and club functions;Ensuring compliance with club policies and the constitution, rules and procedures and relevant legislation;Working with the accountant in managing timesheets, rosters, and payroll, plus any other financial matters as required;Assisting and providing support in the planning and budgeting process;Maintaining operational costs within budget;Managing procurement, inventory, cash and banking;Responding to inquiries from Members and Visitors;Liaising with the management of Fairmont Resort;Utilising IT systems, spreadsheets and network management.Your expertise in golf club administration or similar is an advantage in this role. As a leader, your superior communication skills will be fully appreciated by the Board and Members.Some experience in hospitality would also be an advantage.Your understanding of Microsoft Applications and optimising the use of databases is also an advantage.Send us a cover letter with your CV to the Manager of Leura Golf Club @leuragolfclub.com.au.
