Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) Full time Security Consulting Group (SCG) requires a dynamic administrative assistant to support our finance team and project managers.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in all facets of administrative and project support for a growing organisation.
We require someone who is solution-focused, works to deadlines, can pivot to changing demands, is adaptable, and reliable.
Whilst the successful applicant should possess a relevant work history, full training on our finance systems of Xero and Total Synergy will be provided.
The main responsibilities under this role will be:
Generation of monthly invoicesAssisting with input and maintenance of projects within Total Synergy, our project management systemNational and international travel bookings for our team of 50 staffAccounts payable entriesOrdering suppliesAssisting Directors with administrative tasks

The successful applicant will have intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite and an understanding and experience in accounting principles and project management systems would be advantageous.
The role will be based in our Melbourne head office providing support to our Finance Manager and to our Australia-wide team of 50 Project Managers.
This is a unique opportunity to work with Directors and staff at all levels of the business.
A high level of daily contact and interaction with all of our team in person, via phone, and on Teams conferencing requires someone who is adaptive, able to juggle multiple tasks/people and deadlines, and is able to develop strong working relationships with all staff and clients.
The ability to manage your own time, take on responsibility, and ensure tasks are followed through to completion are also required.
Due to the sensitive nature of the client and the services we deliver, the successful applicant will be required to be an Australian Citizen and undergo a National Police Check and a National Security Clearance (via the Department of Defence).
The outcome of which SCG will need to be satisfied with.
