Supervision and coordination of other staff involves ensuring that routine tasks are performed to the required standard.Specialised support functions will involve accountability for a single function or the operation of a work area. Technical support will involve ensuring clearly defined technical requirements are met (for example, technical support to teachers within a school laboratory). Direction is readily available and the scope for decision making is limited to how required tasks are met.Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:Provide coordinated support to teachers and educational programs.Provide a child safe environment in accordance with the Child Safe Standards.Coordinate the day-to-day routine operational requirements of a school office.Provide medical intervention support to a student(s).Support financial and budgetary processes.Coordinate and prepare routine school communication.Prepare data or information for documentation and basic reports.Use specialised knowledge in a specific functional area including risk assessment, for example, science laboratory, information technology support or library.Provide training and/or instruction with respect to technical systems or scientific processes.Prepare experiments or use of equipment and conduct demonstrations, where required, under direct supervision.ResponsibilitiesGeneral DutiesSet telephone messages and answering service.Preparation and maintenance of student files.Maintain all sign in registers.Staff lists and DLs.Maintain carer/pick up register.Maintain and update office notice boards.Photocopy orders.OHS induction Staff and Visitors.Order and replenish staffroom supplies.Admin pigeon holing.Whole school PA announcements.CASES AdministrationProcess enrolments on CASES21 as required.Court orders: copy for student file and compass alerts.Maintain and update student custody/access restriction on CASES21, student file and compass.Ensure teachers and relevant classroom staff are aware of relevant information if changes are communicated through office.Maintain enrolment packs.Maintain and update student contact details on CASES21 and COMPASS.Filing and Archiving.Receipting Back Up.CASES21 Admin Rollover.COMPASS Support to leadership team.TransportSupport Office Manager with Student Transport Administration.Communicate with Bus company and student transport unit as required.Communicate changes in routes, timetables and bus lines with parents/carers.Daily OrganisationDaily organisation duties such as lunch, recess, mealtime and yard duty roster, CRT coverage, ES mixed schedule and staff replacements as a member of the daily organisation team as required.FinanceAssist Business Manager and School office Manager with Finance related tasks as required.Human ResourcesAssist Business Manager and School office Manager with Human Resource related tasks as required.Other duties requested by the Principal.Who May ApplyIndividuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfil the specific requirements of the position.EEO AND OHS CommitmentApplicants seeking part-time employment are encouraged to apply for any teaching service position and, if they are the successful candidate, request a reduced time fraction. Located at 2 Frome Cr, Werribee, Nganboo Borron School supports students with mild to profound intellectual disabilities in the Wyndham area. Students access specialised education services and high-quality learning and wellbeing programs. Nganboo Borron School has capacity up to 148 students, enrolling students from Foundation to year 12.Our new facility consists of 4 permanent buildings, including: an administration building (incorporating school library and staff lounge); 2 learning neighbourhoods (1 Junior and 1 Senior); a community hub with indoor multi-use court; canteen; arts/music spaces; hard courts; and a sports field.Students have great modern learning areas with air conditioning and heating inside with undercover walkways and shelters for protection from the weather when outdoors.
