The role of the Admin - Accounts is to manage all the financial and administrative functions of QPS.
This includes maintaining the site General Ledger including all aspects of Bank, Trade Creditors, Trade Debtors, and Payroll, as well as general office support.
Day to Day may include: Payroll & Timesheet Management: Accurately process weekly payroll.Bank Reconciliation: Complete weekly bank reconciliations to ensure the business's cash position is accurately reflected in our ERP system (Netsuite).Statutory Compliance: Prepare and submit all necessary statutory returns, including BAS, Excise, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation in a timely and compliant manner.Monthly Reporting: Provide detailed monthly reports to the General Manager in alignment with company requirements, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.Accounts Receivable: Ensure all amounts owed to QPS for goods and services provided are collected promptly, with regular updates included in end-of-month reporting.Accounts Payable: Oversee timely payment of outstanding supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements at least bi-monthly to ensure accuracy, with regular updates included in end-of-month reports.General Office Support: Assist the General Manager and broader QPS team with various administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth running of the office.Site Amenities Management: Handle the ordering of uniforms, office supplies, weekly kitchen supplies, and coordinating office lunches, morning teas, and ad-hoc work functions.Inbox and Phone Management: Manage the office inbox, respond to phone calls, and greet visitors in a professional manner.Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding of new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience for new team members.Who we are looking for: You are an outstanding communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships and interacting effectively across all levels.
Your organisational skills are top-notch, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once, even under pressure.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and can independently manage your workload with a proactive and solutions-driven approach.
With advanced Microsoft Excel skills, you're comfortable handling complex data and generating insightful reports to support decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience: Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a similar role, ideally with bookkeeping experience.Education: Certificate IV or a Degree in Business or Administration is preferred but not essential.Technical Skills: Proficiency with MYOB and payroll systems is highly desirable, along with a strong understanding of Fair Work legislation.Financial Understanding: Solid knowledge of financial processes, including general ledger activities, balance sheet management, and P&L reporting.Office Management: Experience in office management or administrative roles would be an advantage.Ready to make an impact?
