Collaborating with both retail and omni-channel teams, you'll ensure that visual standards and store operations align perfectly with our brand objectives. With your proactive approach and organizational skills, you'll drive both efficiency and strategic growth to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the implementation of best practice visual merchandising and in-store communication standards to create a strong consumer journey, highlighting product features and brand stories to drive sell-through – ensuring consistency of execution across a portfolio of stores. Train, guide and motivate In-Store Visual Merchandisers (ISVM) to continuously deliver excellence in execution across the entire market in DTC. Cascade brand guidelines and VM guidelines to ISVM and store teams to ensure executional excellence and understanding of principles to drive accountability at store level. Guide and influence ISVM and store teams in areas such as overall consumer journeys and store layout, capacities and product density, color flow, mannequin styling, VM standards, ISC materials/sizes and specifications. Assist in measuring and reporting on retail productivity with recommendations to management for continuous improvement. Understand consumer profiles, retail KPIs and market strategy to guide decision making. Support the omni-channel team by providing field/store insights to guide the campaign planning process to cater for individual stores/market needs. Ensure campaign readiness at store level by creating plug & plays, collating installation permits, creating campaign reporting documentation and liaising with suppliers to support OCM installations. Proactively highlight opportunities to both retail ops and omni-channel teams to drive efficiency on process and implementation. Audit and order VM tools for stores in collaboration with retail and omni teams. Gather, consolidate, and deliver input on visual merchandising and campaign performance from the DTC Market to the Hub & Global. Report into the Omni Channel team and Retail Operations team to ensure harmonious delivery of business priorities. Lead new store openings in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure perfect retail execution aligned with store concept and brand guidelines. Drive overall brand success across key Trade Zones by auditing and reporting on all DTC touchpoints. Conduct reporting from on-the-ground analysis of adidas executions and competitor activations. Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience:
Proactive approach to strategy implementation, consistently communicating across relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment of priorities. Strong interpersonal and clear communication skills to deliver desired results in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment. Knowledge of retail landscape, visual merchandising, retail marketing and presentation. Strong project and planning skills; highly organized with a 'finisher, completer' mentality. Understanding of store KPIs to make commercial decisions while ensuring brand standards remain a priority. Ability to think conceptually and strategically, translating sales/category reporting to an in-store merchandising strategy. Knowledge of customer service principles and processes. Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Inspirational attitude that contributes to a positive team environment. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and business partners. Well-developed ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write English. Skilled in PowerPoint and Excel. Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a customer and commercial-focused retail environment, with at least 1 year in visual merchandising or equivalent experience. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
