Your RoleAs an Intelligence Analyst in the Australian Army, you will provide intelligence support that assists commanders in their decision-making process. Gaining advantage over an enemy by having superior intelligence has always played a critical role in successful military operations.
You'll be responsible for acquiring, processing and analysing intelligence before effectively communicating it.
You'll be trained to use cutting-edge technology to receive, process and analyse strategic and operational data that enables your commanders to make well-informed operational decisions. This information may include:
OperationsSurveillanceElectronic warfareSatellite imageryPsychological operationsIntelligence Analysts are also employed in specialist intelligence units that provide support to the Australian Defence Force in fields such as:

SalaryYour starting salary upon commencing training will be approximately $56,385 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation, increasing as you progress through training.
On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you'll enjoy a package starting from $87,929 per annum.
