Job Title: Army Driver
The Australian Defence Force is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to serve as Army Drivers. As an Army Driver, you will play a crucial role in the operation and management of sophisticated military vehicles, transporting cargo, personnel, and dangerous goods across various terrains.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Drive specialist vehicles, including G Wagons, Hawkei PMV-L, and heavy utility trucks, in varied conditions and on all-terrain.Deliver personnel, stores, equipment, and Combat Service Support using road, rail, sea, and air transportation.Conduct non-technical inspections and recover damaged vehicles using vehicle recovery equipment.Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, winches, and cranes.Supervise and assist with loading and unloading of vehicles.About You:
You must be at least 17 years old and hold a current learners license and provisional/probationary driver's licence at the time of enlistment.Hold an Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English and Mathematics.Be an Australian citizen or meet certain criteria for eligibility.Be reasonably fit and healthy, passing a physical fitness test before joining.Be able to successfully obtain a security clearance.What We Offer:
