Job Description As the Communications Lead, you'll be instrumental in shaping ADF Careers messaging and communication strategy. You will be responsible for leading and executing the communications strategy under the guidance of the Change & Communications National Manager. This role is responsible for building and executing the strategy to effectively communicate information to various stakeholders in an effective, consistent, and engaging manner.
You will: Co-create and execute the communication strategy for Corporate ADF Careers. Lead the development of content that supports the successful delivery of ADF Careers communication strategy. Write, develop, and contribute to the delivery of internal and external campaigns for ADF Careers. Work collaboratively and contribute to the writing, editing, and production of compelling and targeted content across numerous channels. Create a communications framework to be consistently applied across all corporate change initiatives and activities, supporting the execution of each channel of engagement. Maintain exceptional levels of verbal and written communication. Build effective relationships with the wider business including vendors, ADF, and Broader Defence seeking feedback on communication preferences and best opportunities for engaging the target audience. Seek opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring communication is impactful and translates effectively to the target audience. Utilise various means to communicate, including email, video, meetings, conference opportunities, etc., applying innovative solutions wherever possible. Support senior stakeholders in developing and executing consistent messaging that aligns with ADF Careers communication strategy, including the use of inclusive language and presentation of communications. Develop, manage, and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the DFR Adecco contract, further encouraging a strong and ongoing relationship between Adecco and the Commonwealth of Australia. Your background will demonstrate: Demonstrated experience with writing corporate communication strategies and executing multiple activities and priorities. 5 – 10 years' experience in corporate communications. Knowledge of change management and the Defence industry is highly desirable. Highly motivated communications professional. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to effectively balance competing priorities and deliver within tight timeframes. High level negotiation skills and ability to make decisions in relation to the quality of work performed, methods, and approaches for how to achieve business outcomes. Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in change management, marketing, or corporate communications.
