You will lead and develop a skilled team to deliver additional / Project works and manage safety, commercial and operational risk in delivering of all major repairs and additional works as engaged by the client and in accordance with agreed requirements of safety, time, quality, and cost, including monitoring and reporting against each. Strengths in project, people and maintenance management are paramount to fulfilling your accountabilities.
Plan and deliver works in accordance with the Services Allocation Matrix, CoMS, Scope of Services and Annual Works ProgramPrepare RFTs for subcontractors, detailing scope, program, and method of deliveryPrepare proposals to deliver additional & project works and liaise with client to refine and evaluate scope and deliveryImplement effective project controls and mobilizations, including identifying core service efficiencies, subcontractor arrangements and Maximo data captureOversee delivery of projects ensuring tendered margins are achieved and works are delivered safely, and project specific outcomes achieved, including technical specifications, program, traffic management, quality etc. and the Fundamentals of Project ManagementAccountable for profit and loss account for all projects within additional works program and identify team and revenue growth opportunities to expand projects delivered under the client forward works planLead and mentor team to drive service excellence and continuous improvements and innovations to meet contract requirements while building partnerships and capability to deliver project opportunities and leveraging off the wider Ventia resourcesRequired Skills and Experience Experience in a similar leadership roleQualifications in Project Management, Engineering or construction related disciplineStrong commercial acumenSound project control and effective risk managementAnalytical and strategic thinking capabilitySolid experience in high level report writingInterpreting engineering drawings, standards, and specifications, and whole of life asset managementConstruction white cardResilience, personal drive, and motivationRoad and Asset rehabilitation / construction / maintenance management experienceUnderstanding of first principles estimating with a broad background across civil / multidisciplinary disciplines preferably with both additional works (construction) and maintenance / operationExperience delivering works under an AS2124 contract highly desirableAbout Ventia
