About the role

SCH' is seeking experienced addiction specialist physicians to join our team in this full-time contract role. Head office is Based in Sydney, NT, this position offers the opportunity to work from home, providing telehealth services to clients across Australia. As an addiction specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals and families impacted by addiction, delivering evidence-based treatment and care.
What you'll be doing Providing comprehensive addiction assessments and developing personalised treatment plans for clientsDelivering high-quality, compassionate addiction treatment and counselling services via telehealthCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care for clientsMonitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as neededMaintaining detailed client records and preparing reports as requiredParticipating in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with best practicesWhat we're looking for Medical degree and specialist qualifications in addiction medicine or psychiatryDemonstrated experience in the assessment and treatment of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide empathetic careProficiency in delivering telehealth services and the use of relevant technologyStrong clinical documentation and reporting skillsCommitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practiceWhat we offer
