We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Concrete & Quarry Manager to join the team in Katherine, NT. Reporting to the Area Manager, this is your opportunity to become an integral team member at one of Australia's leading construction materials producers. In your role you will become part of an energetic and fast moving business with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
With a strong focus on customer service, safety and people, you will lead by example and foster a positive workplace culture of integrity, pride and accountability in our small, close-knit team. This role will provide you with the scope to deliver important short and long-term improvements, which are critical for our ongoing growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
Drive a compelling work health and safety culture to ensure adherence with WHS regulations and requirements Set clear expectations, mentor, coach and manage team performance against KPIs Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure market needs are met Develop and drive business growth opportunities Set the standards for operational and financial performance Develop, implement andimprove operational processes What you will need to succeed
Management and/or operational experience gained from the quarrying & concrete industry Experience with sales / customer service responsibilities (preferred) Strong Knowledge of the Mining & Quarrying Safety & Health Act & Regs Proven ability to work independently within an established structure Sound financial management skills Experience leading and operating in a collaborative manner within a complex organisation structure Our business
