The Role
Adbri is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the Cement & Lime division based in Birkenhead, SA. This pivotal role involves leading the financial reporting and analysis for the division, driving business improvement initiatives, and identifying value creation opportunities.
The successful candidate will provide financial leadership and support strategic decision-making processes while ensuring reporting accuracy, compliance, and alignment with Adbri's operational goals.
Responsibilities Lead month-end reporting for the division, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to the group consolidation system. Prepare management reporting packs, including key financial insights for decision-making. Participate in the budget and forecast processes. Support the external audit process for the division in collaboration with the corporate accounting team. Ensure compliance with financial procedures and maintain the integrity of the division's financial results. Lead and participate in projects aimed at process optimisation and profitability improvement. Utilise financial analysis to support innovative commercial solutions and operational strategies. Collaborate across functional teams to establish and monitor workforce planning KPIs. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that aligns with Adbri's pillars. Provide constructive feedback, manage performance gaps, and support the development and career progression of team members. Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation. What You Will Need to Succeed Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance or a related discipline. CPA/CA membership or equivalent professional accreditation. 5+ years of finance/accounting experience in similar roles, including reporting and closing activities. Experience in large, complex organisations, preferably within manufacturing, cement, or mining sectors. Proficiency in MS Excel, with SAP and SAC experience being advantageous. Expertise in consolidation and reporting software. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Our business
