The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) is a comprehensive, sophisticated central corporate services agency, providing a unified enterprise-wide approach delivering corporate and digital services to Northern Territory Government (NTG) and providing expert advice and developing transformative solutions.
Operating within the NTG's IT infrastructure, the HR Systems team are responsible for delivering specialised expertise in ADABAS database management and Natural programming to support critical business applications across the NTG.
As the ADABAS Developer (DBA) , your primary objective is to manage and maintain ADABAS databases, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and system integrity whilst supporting and upgrading related Software AG products, including Natural, Entire X and other related software.
You will also be required to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, contribute to efficient system operations, and provide expertise in CICS online and batch processing environments.
Your ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve performance issues relating to ADABAS and Natural applications, upgrade Software AG products, and handle CICS online and batch processing environments will be an asset to the team and position you as a knowledge expert.
