What you'll be doing As an acute wards Occupational Therapist, you'll provide client-centred services, focusing on assessment and intervention to improve patient outcomes.
Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services across adult acute care.
Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Support and mentor students and new staff as required.

New graduates welcome to apply.Essential Requirements Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy Registration: AHPRA Occupational Therapist – general registration Selection Criteria Demonstrated clinical experience in an inpatient setting including experience in discharge planning, home assessment, home modifications and equipment prescription.
Skills in planning, implementing and evaluating intervention programmes.
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated effective time management and organisational skills.
Current drivers licence.
Commitment to ongoing education, professional development and quality improvement with demonstrated ability to reflect on clinical reasoning and implement new learning into clinical practice.
Ability to work in a team providing 7 day rotating roster.
