The Role We currently have an opportunity to join our Finance team as an Actuarial within ALM and Investments Products on a fixed term contract position. This opportunity is open to work from our North Sydney or Melbourne office in conjunction with our hybrid work from home options.
This role reports to the Manager, ALM and Investment Products and has responsibility for supporting asset-liability management and management of legacy products.
Your responsibilities will include: Support monthly economic assumptions and estimate financial impactsReview investment issues, performance, and risk; provide balance sheet insights to ALCO and the BoardAnalyse investment performance and asset exposuresCalculate monthly policy liability for legacy products and analyse changes.Analyse participating bonus rates and crediting ratesProactively manage risk; ensure compliance with policies and procedures; perform controls; and escalate issues or breaches as identifiedAbout you Actuarial qualifications, FIAA or equivalent strongly preferredProficiency in Excel and Python5+ years of life insurance ALM and valuation experience, with capital and Australian-specific experience strongly preferredPractical knowledge in project management, networking, leadership, and communicationBringing our best to life - why join us?
