Continue to learn and apply actuarial and analytical skills to corporate analytical assignments to provide effective support to the Actuarial Team Undertake analysis under the guidance of senior actuarial staff that improves the understanding of icare's performance Provide support to projects that involve analysis of data and trends. Communicate complex actuarial and analytical modelling and the results of analysis to the actuarial team Monitor, evaluate and report on the performance of the entities within icare across the entire actuarial control cycle Manage workload and deliver outcomes in accordance with timeframes specified Develop and maintain knowledge of the relevant legislation, industry trends, business processes and actuarial requirements for the entities under icare Skills & Experience Tertiary qualifications at degree level in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other relevant field which satisfies the requirements of Part I of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia's actuarial education program Ability to develop and maintain actuarial valuation and pricing models to estimate general insurance liabilities for long tail claims Proficiency in analytics and communication tools such as SAS, R, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other valuation software Excellent report writing and presentation skills to succinctly present key findings Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Please provide your Transcript under Supporting Documents when applying Culture We know our strength comes from the diversity of our people and would encourage people with different experiences and backgrounds to apply.
