Be the ambassador of fun, creativity, and enjoyment!Connect communities and foster bonds through exciting activitiesAdvance your career in the health & wellbeing spaceAbout the Role We have an exciting opportunity to join our crucial support team as an Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator at Weary Dunlop Retirement Village in Wheelers Hill. We have two part-time positions working Monday to Friday 0930 - 1630, and Saturday to Sunday 1000 - 1600 in our high care unit.
We love when our lifestyle coordinators use their creative flair to make a tangible difference in the lives of our residents. This is a diverse role, and no two days are the same! You will:
Plan, schedule, facilitate and run activities within our villageEnsure our activities calendar meets requirements around physical, mental and social activitiesCurate and develop flyers/communications around monthly eventsPromote happiness, wellbeing, and quality of life for all residentsWork closely with the broader activities team to ensure our events calendar runs smoothlyRun our resident bingo - it sure is a fan favouriteAssist in the delivery of various workshops, social and craft activities. Anything from bake-offs, fashion shows and even floristry demonstrationsAccompany residents on various outingsAbout You To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
