Purpose of the role! At Infin8 care, the role of Resident Engagement & Wellbeing Coordinator is highly visible, a member of facility leadership team and plays a key role in meeting our residents' daily needs at our Chamberlain Gardens facility Wyoming Aged Care Facility | Infinite Care (infin8care.com.au) The Lifestyle team in Infinite Aged Care is responsible for promoting our residents' well-being and happiness, fostering a sense of community and purpose within our Facilities. Their work provides our residents with a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment. The Resident Engagement & Wellbeing Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting diverse recreational, therapeutic, and social activities to improve the residents' overall quality of life. They work closely with other professionals to create a holistic, person-centred care environment.
Your will offer us? You will have strong communication skills, be computer literate and have a commitment to resident wellbeing as well as the following,
Demonstrated experience creating a variety of fun, interactive and group based activitiesDemonstrated skills to know what activities, equipment and spaces are needed to encourage people to participateSafety first attitude, always thinking to prevent any hazards to yourself and othersTertiary qualifications in Certificate IV in Leisure and/or Diversional TherapyA willingnessto work a rotating roster that includes weekendsA valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or apply via How to apply | NDIS)Proactive and measured attitude to identifying & preventing safety hazards in the workplaceWhat's in it for you!
