Cleared are currently supporting the AEC, who are looking to engage an NV1 Cleared Active Directory B2C Engineer for a 12-month contract engagement, based in Canberra with hybrid working arrangements.
This role is an initial contract of 12 months, with the possibility of extension, allowing for remote work combined with onsite attendance at the AEC National Office. They will also consider candidates based in other states but you will be required to travel to Canberra for certain requirements.

The Opportunity:
The Active Directory B2C Engineer will play a vital role within the Service Operations Section of the Digital Technology Branch, supporting the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of Active Directory and B2C environments.
This role requires expertise in Active Directory B2C, Azure AD, and identity management solutions, focusing on improving and stabilising the AEC's digital infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include resolving technical issues, ensuring secure access and compliance, and developing solutions that support AEC operations and user needs in a complex environment.
Mandatory Criteria: Technical expertise in Active Directory B2C and Azure AD, including strong hands-on experience with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), AD Connect, and AD Federation Services (AD FS).Proficiency in identity management, including managing access, authentication, and authorization, to support secure access across the AEC's platforms.Ability to implement, manage, and monitor policies and best practices for secure and efficient identity management, aligning with AEC's compliance standards.Effective communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear, responsive support and documentation.Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues, make informed decisions, and adapt solutions to evolving requirements and technologies.Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft SCCM, Citrix, ITIL frameworks, and Remote Access solutions.Experience or willingness to gain knowledge of Australian electoral laws and practices to enhance system support specific to AEC needs.Exposure to hybrid cloud environments and the capability to implement and manage integrated cloud/on-premises solutions.
Clearance:
Applicants will be required to obtain a Police Check and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 AGSVA Clearance.
