Pattern Makers & Garment Technicians (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time
The Senior Product Developer/Garment Technician will occupy a position within a team of three Garment Techs/Product Developers working closely with the Department Head, ensuring we exceed all Customer expectations.
This role is most suited to an experienced Pattern Maker or Garment Technician with a passion for stitch and fabric technology and a meticulous eye for detail. It is not a creative design role, although it can incorporate design elements.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Product Developer to provide leadership using their industry-leading technical knowledge and customer support skills while supporting the growth and profitability of the business.
Your day will be spent collaborating on Tech Packs, Hand Overs, Purchase Orders, Timelines, Critical Paths, Development Tracking, Samples, Approvals, ex-Factory and Delivery schedules, and all the communication and direction needed for maximum efficiency.
Your Expertise You will have a record of progression within the apparel industry that shows technical, interpersonal, and commercial skills, with a passion to be successful in your chosen field. Candidates must have advanced knowledge of construction and fabric, including stretch fabrics, and prior experience working with overseas manufacturers and suppliers.
