We are looking for an energetic, adaptable, and collaborative individual to join our diverse team in a brand-new and exciting role, where creativity is celebrated, and new ideas are encouraged.
Your strategic thinking and strong attention to detail will ensure seamless execution of PTA's activations and events.
In this role, you will be at the heart of developing and managing dynamic and impactful activations and events across the public transport network.
You'll coordinate all aspects of these events from concept to execution, ensuring every detail is carefully planned, while maintaining flexibility to adapt as the situation evolves.
The ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of development is essential, as you will oversee a variety of initiatives concurrently.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with PTA's objectives.
You will also collaborate with marketing teams to promote events effectively.
Your keen eye for detail will be vital in ensuring that each event is seamlessly delivered, meets all safety requirements, and leaves a lasting impression.
Furthermore, your adaptability and problem-solving skills will help you navigate the fast-paced nature of event planning, as well as respond to any challenges that may arise.
About you! Significant experience in the successful initiation, development, delivery, and evaluation of a range of public events and activations.Well-developed project management and contract management skills including a demonstrated ability to manage events schedules and implement projects to successful conclusions.Proven experience in contract management including drafting, report writing and retention of documentation.Demonstrated knowledge, expertise and experience in applying risk management and WHS principles and processes to event planning and management.Understanding of First Nations cultural protocols and the accessibility requirements of diverse communities applicable to delivering inclusive activations and events.Ability to conduct research and analysis on a range of issues and to apply outcomes of such to achieve operational objectives and to resolve problems.About Us The Public Transport Authority's (PTA) vision is to be recognised as a leader in providing world-class public transport services and solutions.
