Yitpi Yartapuultiku is a third space enterprise, where shared understanding between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal cultures is reached. The Activation Lead will play their part in supporting cross-cultural approaches and relationships to create a strong foundation for Yitpi Yartapuultiku. Key responsibilities of the position include: Lead the launch and establishment of Yitpi Yartapuultiku, utilising a place-based leadership model. Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services at Yitpi Yartapuultiku in accordance with relevant plans, policies and frameworks. Guide the development of site-specific plans, policies and frameworks that combine to ensure strategic alignment of activities to deliver positive community outcomes. Ensure effective community governance processes that maximise Aboriginal community participation outcomes and support shared decision making. Promote strong community and cultural participation to strengthen and compliment what already exists in the community. Work collaboratively with employees across the organisation on a range of initiatives. Manage the budget and financial reporting for Yitpi Yartapuultiku. The successful applicant will have: Leadership experience within a community facing organisation. Experience in the design, implementation and management of community and cultural programs, projects or services. Knowledge of community development within an Aboriginal community setting. A sound understanding of Managing budgets and ensuring compliance with financial agreements. This is a Level 7 position which has a current salary range of $120,483.90 - $128,062.96 (plus Super).
