We are currently recruiting a Territory Director in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) for Key Assets Australia, a well-established, not-for-profit provider of foster care, kinship care, family preservation, and aftercare services.
About Key Assets Australia
Key Assets Australia (KAA) is dedicated to providing quality care and support services for vulnerable children and families. From January 1, 2025, KAA will begin offering its services in the ACT, building on its strong reputation across Australia. This expansion represents an important milestone in their journey of safe growth and commitment to positive change in children's lives.
About the Role
The ACT Territory Director will be responsible for establishing and managing Key Assets Australia's services in the ACT. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the integration and development of a range of services, including foster care, kinship care, family preservation, and aftercare. The Territory Director will play a key role in operational oversight, service delivery, staff leadership, and financial management within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the setup, development, and delivery of KAA services in the ACT, including service provision strategy, operational performance, and stakeholder engagement. Ensure the delivery of high-quality services aligned with KAA's values, policies, and strategic goals. Lead the recruitment, retention, and performance of staff within the region. Take responsibility for budget performance and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure services meet the needs of children, young people, and their families. Be an active participant in the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organisation. Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in social work or a similar field, with a background in managing services for vulnerable children or families. Strong leadership skills, including experience managing teams, resources, and financial performance in a complex organizational setting. A thorough understanding of child protection legislation and practices. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on collaboration and innovation. A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is essential. How to Apply:
