Join us at the ACT Teacher Quality Institute where you can play a vital role in upholding the standards of the ACT teaching profession and protecting students and the community by ensuring education is provided in a professional and competent way by registered teachers.
This role is an active member of the TQI team, supporting the registration and regulation workstreams. Responsibilities include administrative and operational support in the management of teacher registration and in governance and compliance.
An ability to think critically will be vital in accessing and interpreting legislative frameworks and providing informed advice to Senior Officers to minimise risks and ensure compliance. Excellent communication and customer service skills will be essential to liaise with our regulated community and internal and external stakeholders. You will provide valuable, enabling support to Senior Officers while working collaboratively with the TQI team.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Desirable: Experience with the interpretation and communication of legislation, regulation and policy is highly desirable.
Notes: The position will be available immediately until 26 July 2025 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
