The Community Services Directorate (CSD), Housing Assistance division is looking for a knowledgeable, connected, motivated and qualified individuals with a case coordination background to join the Client Services Branch, Tenant Experience team that supports the management of public housing tenancies.
As a Tenant Support Community Connections Officer, you will play a critical role in providing specialist advice, information, support and case coordination for public housing tenants who may be experiencing acritical event or complex issues that impact their ability to sustain their tenancy.
In this role you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, to mentor staff and engage directly with clients to understand the supports and services they may need to connect to sustain their tenancy or meet their personal wellbeing needs.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: We are looking for applicants who: Have proactive, trauma-informed and solution-driven frontline case coordination experience Know how to develop and maintain professional relationships with community partners Have excellent written and verbal communication and engagement skills Can work alongside a diverse range of people and multi-disciplinary teams to support positive tenant outcomes Want to share their expertise to provide mentorship and guidance to staff working alongside our tenants Are adaptable, collaborative, and agile in dynamic work environment Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
A merit pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
