Act Community Services Directorate | Housing Disability Liaison Officer

The Infrastructure and Contracts Branch in Housing Assistance is looking for a motivated and results-driven individual to join the team as a Housing Disability Liaison Officer.
This position will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of the ACT Disability Strategy through guiding strategic operations and disability provisions within Housing Assistance. This will involve working across all areas of Housing Assistance to lead improved communication and staff confidence, and the understanding and application of reasonable adjustments, in supporting people with a disability. Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Relevant qualifications in social work, disability services, or a related field, along with professional accreditation or certification that supports expertise in disability services and policy development. Mandatory: This position does require a Working with Vulnerable People check. Note: This is a temporary position available for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
