Work from home: Hybrid - 3 days WFH 2 days in office
The purpose of an Acquisition and Retention Consultant is to grow and retain the Defence Health membership base by providing our prospects and members with quality experience that aligns with our purpose, vision, and values. It focuses on further enhancing skill and capability and provides further exposure and experience to support a fulfilling career pathway with Defence Health.
Assessment Centre Dates and Times: 5 th July

1:00pm-3:00pm

Technical Capability Demonstrate the consistent application of retention and acquisition techniques, identifying opportunities and attempting to handle objections
Deliver a personalised experience across all channels
Ability to deliver service across both Acquisition & Retention skills
Effective use of the appropriate systems, tools, and resources to deliver an efficient, quality service to our prospects and members
Willingness to learn and apply feedback to improve
Ability to adapt to technology enhancements that improve the member and/or employee experience
With the support and direction of your leader, strive for continuous improvement to grow and develop in your ability within the Acquisition and Retention division
Well-developed understanding of Sales and Retention techniques
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Delivers the best Member Experience possible
Is team orientated and can work autonomously
Demonstrates active listening skills consistently
Engaging personality, able to quickly build rapport
Able to follow call flows in a conversational way
Follows through on commitments
Proficient with technology
Ability to apply constructive feedback and improve performance
Demonstrates company values
Previous experience in Sales and/or Retention or contact center role
Knowledge of health insurance, general insurance, or financial services
Fast and accurate data entry skills
Previous experience within a highly regulated environment such as health insurance, general insurance, or financial services (banking)
Intermediate problem-solving skills
