SLR has a great opportunity within the Acoustics & Vibration team for an ambitious individual to join our high performing and friendly team in Sydney. This is a full-time position where you will be working with a well-established team of Acoustics and Vibration Consultants. You will bring passion and knowledge in acoustics as well as broader noise and vibration disciplines (including environmental and transport noise and vibration, as well as building and architectural acoustics).

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out high profile and large-scale projects within the APAC region and in NSW in particular which will require a broad knowledge and understanding around measurement/monitoring methodologies and techniques to solve problems.
Collaborate and deliver projects with other personnel within the local, national and global team of acoustics and vibration and/or other relevant technical disciplines to achieve desirable project outcomes.Involvement with various project tasks including internal/external client liaison, project input data management, execution of technical tasks and report deliverables, ensuring proper quality control and review process in place on each project task.Involve and contribute to other acoustics and vibration projects within the acoustics team, work in the following areas is expected: noise and vibration measurement and monitoring, modelling predictions, numerical analysis of results and associated reporting.Skills and experience
Our ideal candidate will have a willingness to challenge their capabilities and be an innovative thinker as well as possess:
A relevant bachelor's degree or completing studies (ideally mechanical engineering or science (physics). Postgraduate qualifications will be an advantage;1-3 years' consulting experience.Experience in noise measurement and monitoring, data processing and analysis.Experience in the Environmental Sciences would be desirable.Strong analytical, verbal/written communication and technical report writing skills.Experience with broader acoustic and vibration disciplines, as well as GIS and coding would also be highly favourable.Experience with noise monitoring equipment and/or 3D computer noise models such as SoundPLAN, CadnaA or ENM would be desirable.Our benefits at SLR include:
