ACH Group is seeking an experienced lawyer to provide high-quality independent legal advice that enables sound and prudent decision-making to help meet ACH Group's obligations, protecting and defending its interests and rights.
This opportunity is offered as a 12-month contract to backfill parental leave, 3 days per week, with a possibility of ongoing job share.
What you'll do: Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate, commercial, compliance, and regulatory matters.
Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, and support ACH Group's compliance programs.
Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, external legal advisors, and regulatory authorities.
Review, develop, and implement policies and procedures.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements.
You will need: At least 3-5 years post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal role.
Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to create reports or other documents in plain English to communicate ideas or concepts related to complex or sensitive issues.
A satisfactory Police Check for working with vulnerable groups less than 12 months at commencement.
