About the Role: ACH Group has an exciting new opportunity to lead the operational management, customer care, and quality service delivery at the Residential Care Home - VITA, based in Daw Park on a full-time basis.
What you'll do:
Lead the execution of the strategic initiatives at the home and best practice within clinical care services.
Maintain and exceed compliance with Aged Care legislation, accreditation standards, and AN ACC framework.
Budget oversight, clinical, quality, safety, and staff resourcing management (in conjunction with Head of Residential Customer Care, Head of Operations, and Head of Care Workforce).
Oversee clinical staff (Nurses), including recruiting, onboarding, reviewing, and supporting staff to achieve success in the delivery of the 'Good Live' promise.
Incident Management for customers and staff.
Feedback management and case conferences.
Lead a high-performing and customer-centric culture.
In conjunction with the Care Managers, liaise with internal and external stakeholders including the resident's family members, carers, and allied health professionals.
About you:
Significant experience in a leadership/management role or similar role.
Nursing qualifications and current registration with AHPRA highly desirable.
Ideally possess postgraduate qualifications or working towards them.
Demonstrated high levels of clinical competence.
Demonstrated experience in supporting family members and residents.
Demonstrated experience in resolving clinical issues, supporting family members, and residents.
Understanding of Healthy Ageing and AN ACC preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferably possess significant nursing experience in an aged care environment.
A Police Check for unsupervised contact/vulnerable groups less than 12 months old upon commencement.
