The role: An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen for candidates experienced in gardening and general maintenance repairs, to join the team the Maintenance team at ACH Group's Residential Care Home Highercombe, located in Hope Valley and working between the Northern Residential Care Homes.
What you'll do: Ensure the safety of staff, customers and visitors through the performance of maintenance tasks Perform various preventative and unplanned maintenance & gardening tasks Ensure work undertaken is compliant and to the relevant standard Paint preparation and painting Pruning, mulching, mowing of lawns and edging Blowing and cleaning areas Weed control - spraying and manual weeding Provide outstanding customer service to all ACH Group customers Participate on the on-call roster and much more You will need: Experience in building and garden maintenance Computer literacy, with the ability to use various software and databases Flexibility in approach to work Excellent written and verbal communication skills A satisfactory police clearance for working with vulnerable people less than 12 months old at commencement of employment.
