The Branch ONI's Workforce Branch is a vibrant, supportive, and collaborative branch that strives to deliver excellent customer service through modern and flexible HR practices.
The Roles ONI is recruiting HR Advisors to support various roles in its Workforce Branch, including individuals with a passion for recruitment, workforce planning, HR program delivery, talent management, career outreach, and diversity initiatives.
Key duties for our roles may include:
Leading end-to-end recruitment processes, including providing advice and support to line areas, posting jobs, facilitating candidate screening and assessment processes, managing offers, advising on recruitment best practices, APS policy requirements, market trends, and talent acquisition strategies. Providing generalist HR support, advising and coaching managers/supervisors and employees, including interpreting relevant HR policy and procedures. Utilising our eRecruit system to streamline processes and enhance candidate and employee experiences. Coordinating and supporting the Australian Government Graduate Program - Intelligence Stream graduate activities. Providing administrative support to ONI's Workforce Branch on a range of workforce projects, including workforce planning, talent attraction, diversity, and recruitment. Building, nurturing, and supporting relationships with stakeholders and providers to deliver successful outcomes. Key Attributes To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
Experience in one or more HR areas - for example, payroll, recruitment, HR strategy, learning & development, workforce analytics, or business partnering. Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate changing demands and provide responsive services to meet clients' needs, bringing a 'solutions' focus to moderately complex people problems. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
