Job Title: Academic Support Officer, Sunshine Coast Campus, Sippy Downs
Level: Level 5, $77,710 - $87,573 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation
Position Type: Two fractional (60%), ongoing appointments
The Opportunity You will play a key role in providing administrative support for Accreditation and Curriculum activities across all schools.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating program reviews, managing accreditation submissions, facilitating site visits, assisting with course changes, and supporting committee functions.
This role requires an understanding of the University's structure, programs, policies, and curriculum processes, and involves close collaboration with University staff, external accreditation bodies, and Senior Accreditation Officers.
You will: Provide high-level administration support to ensure the efficient coordination of program reviews, external accreditation, course changes, and committee support. Ensure compliance with relevant policy and procedures governing curriculum and accreditation. Provide essential support to the Team Leader and Senior Accreditation Support Officers with various accreditation and curriculum tasks, ensuring compliance and contributing to the team's overall effectiveness and performance. Enhance processes using a continuous improvement and best practice ethos. About you: You consistently deliver high-quality customer service to support schools with accreditation and curriculum, ensuring an exceptional customer experience that aligns with the University's strategic goals.
Your advanced organisational and interpersonal skills enable you to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines efficiently, whether working collaboratively in a team or independently.
You demonstrate strong discretion and judgment in maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive matters.
Your proactive problem-solving abilities, flexibility, and resilience make you adaptable to change, especially in uncertain times.
You will possess: Completion of a degree, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education or training. Effective verbal and written communication skills, particularly in relation to explaining administrative requirements and processes effectively and preparing clear and concise written materials. Extensive experience providing customer-focused administrative support, including: Responding to telephone, email and in-person enquiries. Excellent stakeholder interaction - the ability to respond to, liaise and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external to the University. The ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures. Committee support skills such as preparing agendas, distributing papers, and ensuring further action and follow up.
