Accounts Recievable Officer

Duffy & Simon, a progressive leader in the legal industry with nearly 50 years' experience, requires a dedicated accounts receivable officer 2-3 days per week. This position is newly created to accommodate business growth.This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team ensuring that arrears are kept at an appropriate level. The purpose of this position is to maximize recovery rates, enter into negotiations, and make decisions regarding payment arrangements, settlement offers, and resolving or escalating any issues associated with debt collection. You will work closely with partners and lawyers to gain their insights and support.You will be responsible for:Managing outstanding accounts including client calls and correspondenceNegotiating and setting up payment plans and settlements with clientsDelivering exceptional customer conversationsRegular reporting to the partnership groupAdhering to all regulatory and legislative requirementsDeveloping and implementing strategies to improve collections performanceYour Profile:This role is well suited to someone who has proven experience in a similar role with excellent written and oral communication skills.
