Accounts Receivable Team Lead

Accounts Receivable Team Lead Full Time Temporary Start Date: ASAP, but can accommodate a January start.
End date: 30/6/24 initially, however there is scope that this role will either be extended or go permanent directly with the organisation.
Salary: $50-55 per hour (dependent on the candidate's experience) + Super
Location: Flexible working arrangements but a minimum of 2 days a week at Sydney Olympic Park.
Quay Appointments are currently seeking an experienced and competent Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join a well-established government organisation to contribute to the effective operation of the Accounts Receivable function and also be responsible for the supervision of 1-2 contractors.
Key Responsibilities of this Role: Supervise the Accounts Receivable Officers Provide hands-on support with any overflow of work Work closely with your colleagues in the team responsible for allocations, reconciliation and other administrative receivables functions Liaise with other internal teams within the organisation Daily and Month-End Reconciliations Support your Manager and the business with any ad hoc projects as they arise with the continued growth of the business Essential Requirements: Previous Accounts Receivable experience Excellent interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills High attention to detail Understanding of vendor/customer management Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (at least intermediate level) General Ledger reconciliation experience including month-end close activities The ability to create and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders Experience leading and managing a team is highly advantageous Accounts Payable experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
