A great career opportunity for an Accounts Receivable person with two plus years' experience to move towards a Credit Controller role.
The role: Reporting to the C.E.O., you will be responsible for the collection of overdue accounts via outbound collection calls, and emails to our customers. Working within a supportive team you will play a vital part in reducing the risk of delinquency/credit risk across the debtor's portfolio with internal/external stakeholders while maintaining good relationships with our clients.
Tasks & Responsibilities: · Debtor control including following up overdue payments.
· Receipting, allocation, and reconciliation of payments, with the help of two direct reports.
· Process direct debits/ deposits and other related banking tasks.
· Establishing payment plans, work with our Account Managers and customers to offer solutions.
· Managing and follow up of internal/external accounts queries.
· Resolving customer queries and disputes.
· Be able to take ownership and work with our Sales and Management Teams.
About you: · Excellent telephone manner and with the ability to take detailed notes.
· High attention to detail and accurate recording of follow-up calls and emails.
· Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills.
· Adaptability – ability to alternate customer service delivery.
· Experience in a high-volume environment would be highly regarded.
· Resilient with a positive attitude.
· A motivated individual who can work with KPIs and meet targets.
· Ability to work independently and be a team player.
