A leading disability housing provider is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be based in their main office located in Perth's western suburbs.
Your new role
This role will primarily involve performing the full end-to-end Accounts Receivable function.Processing and management of invoices to recharge providers and participants.Processing of fortnightly rent.Debt collection.Bank reconciliations on revenue.General ledger reconciliations of clearing accounts.Act as back-up for Accounts Payable Officer.Assist with other duties within the finance department as required.What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:Demonstrated experience in a similar role.Bookkeeping experience is preferred but not essential.Trust accounting knowledge will also be favourable.Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook & Word).Previous experience using a financial system. Experience in XERO is highly regarded.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Has a "can do" attitude and is willing to provide other general office support as required.What you'll get in returnCompetitive salary.Flexible working hours to accommodate school pick-ups.1-day WFH per week once training is complete.Free parking provided.Mobile phone allowance.What you need to do now
