This newly available position is perfect for an ambitious AR officer who is interested in strengthening their skills within a fast-paced environment, working alongside a team of highly experienced accountants across Australia.
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:Full function accounts receivable including invoicing, receipting, allocations, and collections.Dealing with a range of financial institutions, including major banksCarrying out all month-end closing processes and controls including bank reconciliationsManaging aged accounts and bad debtsEnsuring accurate customer records are maintainedResolution of internal and external debtor queries
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 3 years' experience as an accounts receivable officerExperience closing month endProficiency in ERP systems, including Oracle and SAPDemonstrating the ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentKnowledge of banking payment solutions and banking systemsDemonstrated expertise in managing a ledger of debtor accountsHigh attention to detail and organisational skills
