Accounts Receivable Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our QHC team. Quality Health Care (QHC) is a specialist accommodation, disability, and community care provider with over 25 years' experience working with people to achieve their goals. We have a team of over 350 staff and we offer supported independent living, specialised disability accommodation, home care, support coordination, and Behaviour Support.  The Role: Responsible for the overall integrity, including accuracy completeness and timelines of billing and receivables.Communicates effectively with all internal / external customers to ensure billing information obtained is accurate.Ensure billing complies with contractual agreements / arrangements and requirements as set by QHC policies and any Government funding schemes.Work proactively to minimise rejected payment claims through established processesReconcile payments received from NDIS/ relevant funding bodies. Responsible for the invoicing process in MYOB Exo and maintaining the invoicing system Assist with any internal and external audit recommendations relating to billing and receivables.Assist in payroll procedures for the companyLiaise with the department managers and/or Finance manager in regard to managing appropriate Debt Collection Support the team with the adherence to month-end deadlines including the review of AR reconciliationsSubmit payment claims to the NDIS Portal / relevant funding body and report results to the businessCreate and manage service agreements and tracking agreements for QHC operational departmentsEnsure that there is continuous improvement in billing and receivable processes / services to meet agreed service level agreements. What we're looking for: Ideally previous experience in a similar role, but not necessaryPreferable payroll experience, but not necessaryCollaboration and teamworkA self driven individual with a proactive streakExcellent problem-solving skillsExcellent time management skills to achieve deadlinesExperienced with high volume data entry and document reviewGood working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and OutlookConfident, friendly and positive attitudeA Keen eye for accuracy and numeracy This position is available for an immediate start, but we're more than happy to wait for the right candidate. Salary will be determined on skills and experience and reviewed regularly on performance.
